This is a feel-good book with an uplifting story. Talk about a picture being worth a 1000 words. Information technology couldn't exist more applicative than the earlier and after photos of the author's family — a fitting testimony to the premise of the volume. And the recipes are straightforward with ingredients typically found in the reader's kitchen. I enjoyed the read and am looking forrad to making the chocolate frosting and the foam cheese frosting pretty soon. This is a experience-good book with an uplifting story. Talk almost a moving picture being worth a thousand words. I have never enjoyed reading a cookbook before, but this one was a adept read too every bit having interesting low carb recipes. I may even invest in it!

Intro and philosophy was interesting, but once I got to the recipes, I didn't desire to use soy flour and simulated sugars.

This book actually isn't what I was wanting, I prefer cookbooks that accept pictures on every recipe, nosotros eat with our eyes before our mouth and I like to see what something looks like before I decide to arrive, this book has a few pages of pictures all clumped together but not picture for every recipe. Secondly I found most of the recipes in this book not family friendly, you can- really tell this books was written past a chef, there was actually no hearty meals in it and it contained ingredients that This book really isn't what I was wanting, I prefer cookbooks that accept pictures on every recipe, we eat with our eyes before our rima oris and I like to see what something looks like before I decide to brand it, this book has a few pages of pictures all clumped together merely not picture for every recipe. I am eager to try out some of these recipes. My biggest complaint most the book is a small one. I don't like how some of the recipes commencement in the eye of the page after the 1 earlier it and others start on a fresh page. I know it is picky, but I prefer each recipe to accept its own page. Like I said, a pocket-sized complaint. I am still quite impressed that this chef lost over 200 pounds by changing to a low carb nutrition and developed the recipes in his books every bit part of his new lifestyle. Very inspiring and some really good recipes. More than kitchen friendly than another low carb cookbooks I've read. Every ingredient is readily available and I actually know what it is! I've already made the Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies, and I've gotten good feedback (and then to speak).
If you're on a low-carb diet, I would definitely recommend this book.
Very inspiring and some really proficient recipes. More kitchen friendly than some other depression carb cookbooks I've read. Every ingredient is readily bachelor and I actually know what it is! I've already made the Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies, and I've gotten good feedback (and then to speak).If you lot're on a low-carb nutrition, I would definitely recommend this volume.

My biggest issue with this volume is that he uses soy flour in a ton of the recipes and it tastes horrible. I made the pizza recipe as written every bit well equally a bunch of other recipes and they were yucky. I can't become over the flavour of the soy flour. Total of Splenda and soy flour recipes yuck.

Non the typical low-carb volume and the recipes will really surprise you. BTW the story is likewise very interesting on the Stella families weight loss.

George Stella makes low carb cooking piece of cake and delicious! The ingredients are always things I have on hand. :D

Recommends it for: Aspiring chefs that similar to watch what they eat
George took condolement foods nosotros know and dear and miss on a low carb diet and made them then nosotros can swallow them. The man is wonderful!

excellent low carb cookbook. includes amazing recipes for everything from chocolate macadamia nut ice foam and praline pumpkin pie to ketchup and BBQ sauce. perfect for diabetics.
